Hunter Netball Associations represent the Hunter region with great pride

The 2022 HART Senior State Titles has concluded at the Campbelltown District and Camden & District Netball Associations.


The Senior State Titles is a flagship event within the Netball NSW pathway, and Hunter Netball Associations were well represented across both locations.


Here's your wrap on the experiences from across all of the Hunter Associations who participated.


Callaghan District Netball Association

Had two teams competing over the weekend with 15 and 17s having a great weekend of results over the 3 day event.


Cessnock District Netball Association

Cessnock 15s and 17s had the opportunity to participate at the Campbelltown location and were really proud to be able to provide their athletes, coaches, managers and umpires the experience.


Charlestown Netball Association

A hugely successful 2022 HART Senior State Titles - loads of fun, plenty of games, and a wonderful experience! Congratulations to all teams - the players, the coaches, the managers, the umpires and the support crews. A huge effort from everyone, you’re amazing!


A special shout to Charlestown Opens team who won the Opens Division 2!




Dungog and District Netball Association

Congratulations on a great weekend Dungog girls, the athletes from Dungog played with Port Stephens Netball Association,


Congratulations to Asha, Lily and Sophie in the 15 years team who finished in Top 10 of Division 3.

The players were lucky to meet players from both Giants and Swifts over the past 2 days .

Jess and the Opens team had a tough 3 days and while they did not get any wins, they played with spirit and great sportsmanship over the event .


Well done to Sam who is the Rep Convenor for Port Stephens for all the organisation and effort that you put into getting the teams to State Titles.


Gosford Netball Association

Three days of wins, losses, draws, injuries, tears, laughter, more injuries, resilience and fun Gosford Netball are so proud of our 15s, 17s and umpires they did yourselves and Gosford proud!

Hunter Netball

Hunter Netball Mens came in third in the Division Two Mens division in the inaugural year of Mens inclusion in the Netball NSW Senior State Titles. Coach Dave Huey and Team Manager Jann Huey were so proud of the team they had an absolute ball over the two days. With Dave stating the improvement individually and as a team surpassed all expectations.





Dave and Jann can't wait to further grow Male netball in partnership with Hunter Netball.


Kurri Kurri Netball Association

After 3 massive days of Netball at Senior State Titles results are in. Kurri Kurri had 5 teams competing & were proud to take 2 men's teams away for the first time at state titles.


Men's Blue team were undefeated all weekend taking out division 2 and came home with the Trophy. Men's Red team came a commendable 5th place in the same division and fought hard every game.


Kurri Kurri 15 years team FINALLY got to experience state titles and after slow start they rallied together to be undefeated day 3 and came home in 6th place in division 4.

Kurri Kurri 17 years thought they were going down to compete in div 3 then only a few weeks ago were advised they would be in div 2, coming home just outside the top 10.

Kurri Kurri Opens team played in division 2 and had an up and down weekend and they finished a commendable 16th out of 26. Great job ladies!!


Lakeside Netball Association

Lakeside Netball Senior Teams had the opportunity to play across Campbelltown and Camden at this years titles and they wanted to give a big shout to all Players, Coaches, Managers, Executive's, Grahame, Simon and our amazing Umpires.


Three days of amazing Netball was played by all our teams. They are very proud of all our girls who all played with spirit and great sportsmanship over the weekend.


Lakeside Netball wants to thank all their wonderful supporters that travelled to Sydney to watch the girls play. This support was amazing providing huge amount of encouragement all weekend.


Maitland Netball Association

Senior State Titles completed for another year. A huge congratulations to all the teams who competed across the weekend.

  • Maitland 15s finished 7th in Division 2

  • 17s finished 14th in Championship Division

  • Opens finished 9th in the Opens Championship Division

Some great results to be very proud of.


Muswellbrook Netball Association

A well deserved treat for the Muswellbrook 15’s after a successful first day at Hart Senior State Titles!


Nelson Bay Netball Association

A great weekend of netball for Nelson Bay U17s in Division 3 at Camden coming home in third place - what a fantastic result. The team stood by their team goals and it showed on the court.


Newcastle Netball Association

After 3 great days of netball the Newcastle Opens were Runners Up to Liverpool in the Championship division at Campbelltown and winners of the Pat Weston Cup.

With top ten placings for both the 15s and 17s

  • 15s finished 10th 17s finished 8th

Awesome weekend of netball was had by all.



Port Stephens Netball Association

2022 Senior State Titles done and dusted for another year . It was 3 days of netball with highs and lows . Congratulations to the Port 15 years team who finished in Top 10 of division 3, with 9 wins 8 losses and 1 draw . The players were lucky to meet players from both Giants and Swifts over the weekend.


The Opens team had a tough 3 days and while they did not come away with the wins, they played with spirit and great sportsmanship over the event and we are extremely proud of their resilience and perseverance.


Scone and District Netball Association

Scone Netball had a great weekend of netball, and enjoyed the fun and friendships made. Both the 15s and 17s had some really impressive wins over the three days, and played with great pride and learning from the experience.


Singleton Netball Association

Are so very proud of their U17’s who competed at the NSW Senior State Titles. Coming into the weekend they had injuries, a reshuffle and limited game time together as a team, despite these obstacles they showed amazing resilience and skilful netball to finish 9th in Division 3 after 3 days of competition.


Congratulations girls, you certainly did Singleton proud!


They would like to thank their Coach Sharon Power, Assistant Coach Mykaela Knight, Manager Rebecca Wild, Caterers and Association Representatives Gail Solman and Marilyn Rix for all of their time, effort and hard work, thank you also to our umpire Ashlee Urpeth and all members of the association who travelled to Camden over the weekend to support the girls.


A massive thankyou to the parents, without you this weekend would not be possible.


Westlakes District Netball Association

Westlakes had a great weekend of netball over an exciting 3 day event. It is the opportunities that representative netball provides their community allows them to participate in such an exciting player pathway.


The Westlakes Opens had the opportunity to compete in the Opens Championships Division in 2022.


Woy Woy Peninsula Netball Association

What a fabulous way to end our Senior State Tiles - with WWPNA President coming to meet the bus to acknowledge the tremendous efforts and commitment of 2 of our long standing Opens players.

On and off the court the girls are something that our junior players aspire to be like.


An outstanding effort coming in 4th Place in Championship division.

The 17s did their best from their first game until the last - the girls were so resilient, never gave up and are so supportive of each other. Thanks to all of our families and friends that travelled to support our players.


Wyong and District Netball Association

As an Association they are extremely proud of all teams and the way they played and conducted themselves over the Championships.


  • 15yr - 3rd in the State in Championship division, this was a great effort and the girls played some hard, fast games to achieve this result.

  • 17yr - played hard and had some narrow losses, 16th in the State in championship division.

  • Opens - came in equal 6th but 7th on a count, this was also a great effort in championship division.

A big shout out to all the Hunter Associations for the many hours that go on behind the scenes to enable grassroots netball to be showcased at State Titles.


Team white - we know you were winners of every round so thank you for playing your role in our great game.
